Vehicle Safety

You are part of the vehicle, especially if you are riding a two-wheeled vehicle!

Whether it is day or night, making yourself as visible as possible is one of the safest things you can do.

1.    Mark sure you have a front and rear taillight/reflectors that are in good repair and can be seen.

2.    Place some inexpensive battery operated LED lights on the frame, foot pedals/posts, handlebars and other structural areas to make yourself as visible as possible.

3.    Using reflective vests, armbands or leg bands to help make you more visible is very important.

4.    Make sure you have some reflective tape and/or lights on your helmet.
